Cousino-Macul Antiguas Reservas Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

MY RATING: 7.5/10

ORIGIN: Chile (Valle Central)

VARIETALS: Cabernet Sauvignon

SAQ PRICE: $17.05

IN A NUTSHELL:  A decent cab sav, but not outstanding

Another whim and foray into Chilean reds. I liked this wine, but, for the price and region, I prefer the Montgras Quatro (which I consumed just before this bottle). It is a decent, full-bodied cab sav, with a lovely dark colour, strawberry and spice flavours, and a slightly spicy finish. However, it evaporates quickly after swallowing, leaving you feeling like something is missing!
